Latte Art Demonstrations

 Latte art is a decorative pattern created with foamed on top of a latte or other espresso drink. The white foam from the milk can be manipulated into the espresso to create swirls, patterns and even simple words. Espresso drinks, including lattes, mochas and cappuccinos, are well suited for latte art. 

Japanese Tea Ceremony

Wa, Kei, Sei, Jaku - “harmony, respect, purity, tranquility.”

Participate in an authentic Japanese Tea Ceremony.  


 The Japanese tea ceremony is an artistic pastime unique to Japan that features the serving and drinking of Matcha, a powdered Japanese green tea.


The ceremony will begin at 1:00pm and there will be a second seating at 3:00pm. Each session will last approximately 30 minutes.  The event will be held in the auditorium this year so there will be plenty of seating for everyone!!

A booklet containing  a brief background of  our sponsors and vendors will be included with your admission.  The booklet will also contain a schedule of the days events as well as a section with coupons from the participating vendors.

Several of  the vendors will be providing exhibitions throughout the day on various topics regarding the coffee roasting process, brewing techniques, and more!!

There is ample parking at the Culinary institute for all visitors.  The CIA campus is also home to many fine dining experiences as well as beautiful grounds located along the majestic Hudson River.
